BENEFITS OF RAW MILK !

I personally don’t drink milk or consume any dairy, but for my children I prefer to use raw milk for many beneficial reasons, raising them with raw milk made a huge impact on their overall health by not having any food allergies or issues with their digestive tracks.

I hear many parents reach for lactose free milk when their kids have issues with regular milk but what they are not releasing is that if the milk is lactose free that means it’s processed. Anything to be free of, sugar, fat , lactose etc. needs to go under a certain processing and we MUST stay away from processed anything. It’s not good for humans.

We are not build to ingest or digest food like substances made in labs.

Raw milk is more nutritious than pasteurized milk. Contains enzymes (pasteurized milk doesn’t)

Contains probiotics rich in beneficial bacteria easier to digest.

Butterfat is a great source of easily absorbed vitamin A (it also contains the fat-soluble

vitamins D, E, and K)

Raw butterfat is rich in conjugated linoleic acid Improves symptoms of chronic fatigue

Helps fight asthma and allergies

The FDA acknowledges that pasteurization destroys a substantial portion of the vitamin C in milk,  and sterilization is also known to significantly impair the bioactivity of vitamin B6 contained in milk.

Raw milk has gut-friendly bacteria and enzymes. Which helps build a healthier gut.

Make sure your raw milk comes from a organic farm and from happy grazing cow’s:)

Did you know?

29 MILLION AMERICANS ARE LACTOSE INTOLERANT;

85% OF THOSE WITH LACTOSE INTOLERANCE CAN TOLERATE RAW MILK

But just how “dangerous” is raw milk by comparison?

Produce is responsible for the greatest number of food borne illnesses each year

Dairy products are at the bottom of the list. They cause the fewest outbreaks and illnesses of all the major food categories – beef, eggs, poultry, produce, and seafood.

CURRENTLY ONLY 8 STATES IN THE U.S. ALLOW RAW MILK TO BE SOLD IN STORES FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION!

Arizona, California, Connecticut, Maine, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, New Mexico, and Washington. In other states, like Florida, the milk has to be marked as pet food.

HOW WIDESPREAD IS GM MILK?

In 2007, 17% of U.S. cows were injected with rBGH. Milk from rBGH-treated cows contains elevated levels of Insulin Growth Factor-1, a hormone linked to increased risks for certain cancers. Milk was first genetically modified in 1994.

rBGH is a genetically engineered artificial hormone injected into dairy cows to make them produce more milk. Despite opposition from scientists, farmers and consumers, the US currently allows dairy cows to be injected with recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH), also known as recombinant bovine somatotropin (rBST).

MUST WATCH FOR:

Unfortunately, there is limited labeling legislation for milk produced from rBGH-treated

cows in the U.S. When in doubt, buy organic and try getting to know your local farmer.

FACT:

Most of the industrialized nations of the world, including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and all 25 nations of the European Union, have disallowed the use of rBGH.

There are going to be conflicting ideas about Raw milk because there is slight risk.

I am personally willing the take the risk for the greater good. I can’t tell you go drink a gallon of raw milk but make sure when you are buying milk,  you choose accordingly and know that labeling can be deceiving.
